Cancelled Rand Water repairs
Please note that Rand Water was scheduled to do repairs at Johannesburg Water’s Hursthill 1 and 2 reservoirs as part of their malfunctioning meters replacement programme.
However due to technical challenges on the system, it was cancelled.
This might have affected water supply to the Hursthill reservoir, and as a result, some areas are experiencing low pressure to no water. However, water supply has been restored and the system is recovering.
Suburbs affected include parts of: Hursthill, Albertville, Franklin Roosevelt Park, Westbury, Northcliff, Albertskroon, Greymont, Coronationville, Claremont, Newlands, Martindale, Triomf, Montclare, Westdene, Newclare, Delarey, Montgomery Park, Parkview, Melville, Greenside, Richmond, Parktown, Westcliff, Emmarentia, Auckland Park, Rossmore, Victory Park Estate S.H., and Parkhurst.
