Burst on pumping main between Crosby and Brixton causing low water pressure
There is a burst on the pumping main between Johannesburg Water’s Crosby and Brixton reservoirs.
As a result of this, Brixton reservoir’s water level has dropped significantly, and customers are experiencing low pressure to no water.
In an effort to curb the problem, Johannesburg Water’s technical teams will be closing the outlet of the Brixton reservoir in order to preserve the little water supply available for the Brixton tower zone.
Networks teams are attending to the problem. Further information will be provided.
