Randjieslaagte Reservoir Update
The installation and repairs of the leaking flange has been completed; however, the reservoir will remain on bypass for the second stage of replacement of the 10m length steel pipe.
The water supply has improved, and the bypass is supplying normally. There might however be pockets of airlocks and poor pressure in some parts of the areas. Johannesburg Water is monitoring the situation and will attend to challenges while the system is recovering.
Affected areas include: Bramley, Glenhazel, Sunningdale, Lombardy East and West, Kew, and parts of Alex. Alternative water supply will be provided to the affected customers.
