Systems Update

The supply issue at Sandton 1 and 2 has been resolved, and the supply is now being restored to the Sandton systems as expected.

Sandton 1 and 2 System:
While supply has returned to normal, it will take some time for the systems to fully recover. Although we anticipated improvements overnight, the system did not recover as expected. Technical teams are being mobilized to investigate the network.

Illovo Reservoir and Tower:
Both the reservoir and tower are currently empty, leading to low or no water pressure at this time.

Bryanston System:
The reservoirs have water, but the area will still experience low water pressure.

Marlboro System:
While the reservoir has water, the area will experience low water pressure.

Morningside System:
The reservoir is critically low, resulting in low water pressure in the area.

The alternative water supply is being expanded and will be provided to affected areas through water tankers supplied by Johannesburg Water.
Customers will be provided with updates as the situation gradually improves.
