Major burst in Oosterland Avenue, Bloubosrand
The team will isolate water this at midnight to ensure the draining of the 600mm bulk main. Excavation and repairs will commence tomorrow, 28 April, once the network has sufficiently drained.
Affected areas include parts of:
Johannesburg North, Cedar Lakes, Cedar Creek, Broadacres, Needwood, Kya Sands, Northriding, Bloubosrand, Chartwell, Msawawa Informal Settlement, Tirong and Farmall.
The estimated completion is 28 April at 22:00.
Further updates will be provided to customers during the outage.
Johannesburg Water apologises to customers for the inconvenience caused.
