Update: Lonehill and Beverly

20 May 2024 – 15:00

Customer Notice

Update: Lonehill and Beverly

Johannesburg Water is aware of the water supply issues in Lonehill and Beverly.

This is the result of a burst water pipe at corner Uranium and Winnie Mandela Drive in Fourways. Although the pipe was repaired on Friday and water restored to the other affected areas, water has still not been returned in Lonehill and Beverly.

To address the issue, technical teams will open water at Dennis Road; however, please note that this will result in a water leak along Lonehill Boulevard by the river next to the fire department.

Opening the valve may help relieve the poor pressure and restore water supply gradually throughout the day.

There is currently no estimated time for restoration; however, Johannesburg Water will monitor the situation throughout the day.
