Broadacres update
Johannesburg Water is aware of the water supply issues that were ongoing in Broadacres.
These were due to a burst pipe inside Fourways Gardens Estate and furthermore, a technical team discovered a malfunctioning pressure-reducing valve (PRV) upon further investigations.
The pipe burst has been repaired and the PRV stabilised. Water is being opened up again slowly to avoid further burst pipes, and the system should be full opened by 02:00 on Thursday morning, 16 May.
Residents should start having low pressure in the next few hours. However, those in high-lying areas such as Lombardy Road and Federic Road will take longer to fully recover.
