Alternative water supply for the Yeoville Pump Station zone
Johannesburg Water has provided alternate water supply in the Yeoville Pump Station zone: Hillbrow, Berea, Yeoville and parts of Bezuidenhout Valley.
Alternative water supply is being provided through mobile tankers in the following streets:
1. 8 O’Reilly Street, Berea
2.Tudhope Avenue and Primrose Terrace, Berea
3. Fife Avenue and Primrose Terrace, Berea
4. Esselen and Claim streets, Hillbrow
5. Twist and Pretoria streets, Hillbrow

Customer Notice: Technical issues at Yeoville Tower zone
Please note that there are technical issues at Johannesburg Water’s Yeoville Tower zone.
Technical teams are currently on site conducting a diagnosis on the issue. This comes after the pump stopped working following load shedding.
This has resulted in residents in the reservoir zone having low pressure to no water.
Alternative water supply will be provided to the affected areas.

Water has been isolated and the bulk main is being drained. Relevant materials are being sourced to complete repairs.
Affected areas include parts of:
Bloubosrand, Johannesburg North, Cedar Lakes, Cedar Creek, Broadacres, Needwood, Kya Sands, Northriding, Chartwell, Msawawa Informal Settlement, Tirong and Farmall.
The estimated completion time 22:00.

The team will isolate water was isolated at midnight to ensure the draining of the 600mm bulk main. Excavation and repairs will commence today, 28 April, once the network has sufficiently drained.
Affected areas include parts of:
Johannesburg North, Cedar Lakes, Cedar Creek, Broadacres, Needwood, Kya Sands, Northriding, Bloubosrand, Chartwell, Msawawa Informal Settlement, Tirong and Farmall.
The estimated completion is 28 April at 22:00.
