There is a burst on 350 mm pipe in Diepsloot that is being attended by JW. We estimate that repairs will be done later today. Apologies for the inconvenience.

 

We appeal to all to use water sparingly and to remind them that level one water restrictions are still in place. Watering of gardens is not allowed between 6 am and 6 pm in summer months (1 Sept to 31 March) and furthermore, it is not allowed to wash paved areas and driveways using hosepipes.

Please note that there is a burst pipe on the main pipeline supplying Lenasia Reservior. The team is busy making arrangements to repair the burst pipe.

Stationery water tankers:

  • Corner Sheffield and Witwatersrand
  • Sheffield and Andies
  • Sheffield and Ivy street.

Arrangements for roaming water trucks are being made. Stationary water tankers will be added and location will be communicated.
