Lenasia High level reservoir

Please take note that the Lenasia High level reservoir contractor is experiencing some challenges with some of the fittings due to material differences between the existing pipe material which is AC and the connecting pipe which is steel pipe and that created delays. The anticipation is that connection should be done by midday today. We will continue to fill tanks this morning in Zakarya Park, Lenasia  ext 1, Vlakfontein, Hospital Hills and have roaming tank in Lehae.

We appeal to all to use water sparingly and to remind them that level one water restrictions are still in place. Watering of gardens is not allowed between 6 am and 6 pm in summer months (1 Sept to 31 March) and furthermore, it is not allowed to wash paved areas and driveway using hosepipes.
