Please note that there is a burst pipe at 5 Ateljee Street, Randpark resulting in a water outage. The team has resolved a major burst pipe in Ouhout Street. There is no estimated time of completion at this stage. Johannesburg Water apologises to customers for the inconvenience caused.

Power maintenance to affect water operations
On the 19 February 2022 starting at 06:30 to 15:30 (9hours), City power will be undertaking urgent maintenance on the 1B transformer and on 05 March 2022 starting at 06:30 to 15:30 (9hours) on 2B transformer at the Rand Water Eikenhof pump station. The water supply from Eikenhof RW pumping station will be reduced by 33% and 40% respectively during this time.
As a result, water supply from the Rand Water Eikenhof pump station to the South of CBD, Northern and Western areas of Johannesburg will experience poor to no water supply during the peak water demand periods, and the most affected areas will be those in high laying and high demand areas.
Johannesburg Water will provide alternative supply in a form of stationary and roaming water tankers to reduce the impact to consumers.

Supply into Yeoville reservoir was impacted due a major burst pipe at Albertina Sisulu and End street, New Doornfontein.
The burst pipe has been repaired. The recovery of Yeoville reservoir will take a few days before the network is fully restored.

Johannesburg Water acknowledges that customers in the Polofields area within Waterfall are currently experiencing a water outage.
A team is inspecting valves in the affected area.
Areas affected include:
Parts of Waterfall, specifically the Polofields area.
There is no estimated time for completion at this stage. We will continue to provide affected customers with updates on progress.

[02/09, 11:33] Daily Updates: Lenasia Reservoir
Please be reminded that filling of new Lenasia High Level 15ML reservoir is on going and therefore closing of Lenaisa High Level Reservoir and Lenasia Hospital Hills reservoir between 13H00 and 17H00 will continue.
Affected areas are Zakarya Park, Lehay, Vlakfontein, Lenasia South, Migson Manor and Finetown areas. Residents of the affected areas as highlited above are urged to keep water that they will need during reservoir closures.
[02/09, 11:44] 9 February 2022 JW Update: Monitoring and Recovery of Commando system ( Hursthill, Brixton and Crosby)
Water supply from Rand Water has reached required levels from this morning. Both Crosby and Brixton reservoirs and Brixton Tower are stable at this time. Hursthill reservoir is still building capacity.
The expected improvements in reservoir levels should continue during the course of the next few days.
Alternate water supply will be focused on the Hursthill supply zone that has been negatively impacted.
Johannesburg Water urges customers to continue to reduce consumption as much as possible to assist with recovery of the system.
[02/09, 18:51] 9 February 2022 JW Update: Low pressure parts of Chartwell and Farmall:
Johannesburg Water acknowledges that customers in parts of Chartwell and Farmall are experiencing low water pressure. The team has been onsite to investigate the cause of the problem.
A faulty pressure reducing valve has lowered pressure in the area. The team will attend to the faulty prv.
We have opened an alternate supply to the affected area, which should improve water supply.
